This role is an important and pivotal role within the Computer group of this major B2B publisher. The successful candidate will play a key role in taking this magazine forward and achieving the core objectives for 2005 and beyond. The core requirement of this role is to generate advertising revenue from both existing and new clients, maximise market share, and deliver high value marketing solutions through face to face contact.
Key responsibilities:
Implement sales strategy effectively Develop revenue from new customers Meet sales activity Develop and maintain key relationships with both clients and agencies Work closely with other products in Computer group
Key skills: Proven track record of sales ability Excellent verbal and written skills Skilled appointment maker Strong organisational ability Ability to create and maintain client relationships Strong presentation skills Creative and proactive approach to selling Ability to grasp and understand the technical nature of the IT marketplace
Experience required: 2 years proven high calibre client facing sales in a similar environment Demonstrable track record Self motivation, drive and initiative Planning skills
